However, it is arguable if it's the best overall suit for combat protection and mobility in Clear Sky as running is still not possible. If compared in terms of combat protection to the 12 kg Skat-9 military armoured suit, the Freedom Exoskeleton is superior by far. However, the normal Exoskeleton allows for increased carry weight (+20 kgs over Freedom variant) and provides slightly better anomaly protection stats (+3 points across the board) when fully upgraded for combat.

This is a unique type of Exoskeleton with the weight lowered by ten kilograms and durability increased through the replacement of some metal parts with carbon fiber.
